Similarly, Nepalese architecture, particularly in the Kathmandu Valley, is renowned for its intricate woodwork and brick structures. The Valley is home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. The pagoda-style architecture, with multi-tiered roofs and elaborate carvings, is a significant contribution of Nepal to the world. Traditional arts in Nepal are rich and diverse, reflecting the country’s cultural heritage and artistic history. The main traditional arts are Thangka paintings, Paubha paintings, wood carving, stone carving, metal carving, pottery, embroidery and weaving etc. which reflects and preserves traditional artworks of Nepal.
